Terrific actor for about $ 100 per year by 35 consumers of technology, I bought this an older HP scanner that was a good performer replaced, but ... wanted to transfer the speed advantage of the data later with USB port capable of computer.I 2 m 'honest of all low marks many other users of this machine have been surprised. He just has all the features following managed scanning and high-quality output as before:-scan photos into digital files (.. TIFF, JPG and other bitmap formats) playback of photos directly to a photo printer, import paper documents directly in MS Office documents and Adobe Acrobat documents; Direct output of a scanned text document to a printer to work on scanning of negatives into digital files / b printing.Minor ... but no serious flaws:-Other reviewers are correct: it only has 2 35 mm negatives / slides at once (but a scanner with automatic feed capacity has cost 2x-3x-time Two of the four front panel buttons are directly related marginally useful features specifically for HP ("HP Share-to-Web" and "HP Memories Disk," their apparent presumption is that we do not know how to FTP or CD burner, - This model is one of the strongest home scanners I have heard.-supplied software is not great, but it is certainly functional (especially if you take the time to adjust settings). $..., for the image / text outputs digital and paper are highly resolved and 36 of brittle 39 people found this review helpful. What's all the fuss? With IcartM I recently purchased this item from an electronics store with a really good price (open box items are my best friend). In less than 15 minutes, I was able to acquire 21 8.5 "x 11" artwork created by my students. Using the software provided by HP, which also took the elements that created country cape position and rotate rename them, copy a file and also created a photo album. Then print the photo album, 15 images per page. OK ... so I could scan very well. I then decided to test its ability to scan negatives and print them. I took the one negative was about 8 years old. Scanned and then opened the windows of the viewer. I printed out a picture of an 8 "x 10" prints, and another as a 5 "x 7". I printed on a laser printer with 600 x 600 dpi. Both print fine. If you want to make money from your scanner, you may want to invest in something more sophisticated. But, it works very well for the basic user in a home environment. 15 of 15 people found this review helpful. Rosomax pretty good scanner for the price of $ 70 to 100 There are about 6.7 scanners. HP took it for one simple reason - proven durability. We have a couple of HP scanners at work and have been widely used over the last three years with zero problems I talked to many people who had Epsons and they all had problems of various kinds. For the good: the old photos are scanned very well. I come from a very "old" and has a lot of photos from 1800. That was very good and easy to restore, with editing software like Photoshop. For the not so good: The software is a bit "clumsy". It seems to have many tools that do the same job. A program all-in-one would have been simple fine. For stranger: Where is the switch? You will have to physically disconnect if you want to save a couple of kWatts. One star taken by that. Otherwise, a solid product that does the job. See all 44 customer reviews ....
