I will divide my analysis into three categories: speed, quality and user interface. ____ SPEED: I just could not get around to something with the V750 scan because the wait time for each scan is just dying. It seems that he has to rev your engine at a time. On the other hand, the speed and agility of the 9000F are impressive. I put some pictures while in the glass to scan, and the software allows you to independently select settings for each image, mixing resolutions and fixes. Then he goes and scans each. And since the LED warm-up time is right to work, you just done so well! I have scanned over 150 photographs in the early days of having this scanner - more than two years I had the Epson. However, keep in mind that when you scan film and slides, the scanning speed will be drastically reduced - it's just the way it is, regardless of the quality of the scanner _____: The V750 is a professional quality scanner (hence the tag of nearly $ 800 price) made a slightly better job with Digital ICE dust and scratches. The 9000F uses DO, which works well but does not seem to be equally effective. Scans on the 9000F tend to be slightly bluer, but you can easily change the correction. ______ Interface: The user interface is a little clugey '(? Is how you write), but that's what it takes, and while you are scanning a large number of photos it stores it in its catalog until you is finished, then save the file in a single scan. The software does not seem to remember some settings (I have to clear a check box to create subfolders based on date of scan), but it works very well together. _____ CONCLUSION: When I think of a deal between the best scanner (V750) and they never, on the other side with a great scanner (9000F) and use it as crazy had to choose, I would definitely recommend the BI 9000F scanning its beautiful design, easy installation, very good scan quality, Easy Photo correction settings, the ability to have multiple images at once and impressive speed! 240 of 247 people found the following review helpful. Probably the best overall package, "A4" flatbed scanner under $ 700 from LG Charlot I bought this scanner primarily to digitally archive my 35 mm film and slide collection. The scanner I used was a 9 year old Microtek 4900 flatbed, hardly up to an object dpi with a maximum optical resolution of 2400, and it did not remove any built-in color correction on the orange mask of color negatives, let alone automatic dust / scratches. And with 2400 dpi, it was too slow, taking nearly an hour to scan a 6-frame film strip. How does the Canon 9000F compare? The "street prices" in Amazom.com, was $ 235 total, almost $ 500 less than the semi-pro 700 Epson scanner table. The 9000F can scan only two strips of 35mm film in one pass, while the Epson can scan 4. The 9000F can scan 35mm slides mounted in four at a time, Epson can scan 8. But for most amateur photographers, the price of $ 700 from Epson is quite steep, and if you have many thousands of slides or slides to scan, the greater the ability of the Epson can not be worth the extra cost. The 9000F's scan speed is at least four times faster than my old Microtek at all resolutions between 300 and 2400 dpi. At higher resolutions, the 9000F is slowed down considerably - a single frame of 35mm film at 9600 dpi took about 20 minutes with FARE enabled. During scanning, the drive motor in the 9000F is very good, relatively quiet, and he seems very good quality. Other scanners that I used sound cheap, like a cement mixer. 2. I tried to picture quality 9000F 35 mm color negative film at 2400 dpi, 3,200 dpi, and the 9600th, the quality of all three scans.
